Updated 29th July

The new timing system worked well..... Until the battery for the laser ran out.. So we went old school and used a stop watch... Boy have the cars got faster... ALOT FASTER.

We have our first sub 2 second times!! Albeit unoffical.....

Everyone improved on the times they previously set, but a few stars emerged.....

Serpents Twin was Awesome getting a time just over 2.5 seconds!

Skunkworks Carrera GT finally got sub 3 seconds, but as every one else had got faster still came down the ranks.....

Nippon ran well with the 350Z, but couldn't get the nitro to run more than 3 feet with a body on... That did cause some amusement with the other teams....

Blonde finally ran the High Roller, but needs to get it faster. It was good at jumping though!!

Samba Sport's new TA-05 IFS was simply amazing. No drama, just fantastic performance. So much so it beat all the brushless cars and came first on the day! His Brushless car was only 0.03 seconds behind though in joint second spot with the 2FAST4U traxxas.

Mmmm, the 2FAST4U traxxas.. Sporting 11v + Lipo and full brushless system... A bit of a handfull. But boy was it spectacular! Crossing the finish line in 1.97 seconds... Backwards..... On it's roof!!!

The times have been posted in events, and video was taken (including some new in car footage), and will be editted and uploaded soon.....

The next event will probably be a autotest of sorts.. If you have an opinion let us know...

Updated 23rd July

Since the last month, we have organised 2 Need for Speed Events. 26th June and 21st August. Blonde Racin' has been busy building the new Laser timing system, so hopefully we will be able to post some more times. Lots of modifications to old cars and some new cars to time.

Skunkworks has been setting up the Carrera GT following its last disappointing run. He will also be bringing the New Old Skool 911 and the prototype 911 drag car. 2Fast4U will see if he can manage to post a time in the Traxxas without launching it.......

Samba Sport is in it to win it, with the TA-05 and maybe a Tank. Blonde Racin' has actually bought a new piece of kit! Brand New no less. Its only a battery, but it is the first new bit of kit he has ever bought!

Nippon has re-built the nitro after his last eventfull crash and has been re-building the 350Z with a new chassis. Serpent also needs to post a new time in the wild twin dagger. Should be interesting.

Only bitter GP won't be attending, he would rather chase after boys wearing shorts..

We also have two new members on the facebook page. They may even make an appearance at an event......

Talking of the facebook page, there is a debate on whether Twin's should be Premier Class or not. Got and opinion and join in.

Updated 27th June

Well we have been off line for a while whilst the web site was given a make over. Hope you like the new look. We still need to update the car spec's however, but this will be done over the next week or so. Since the last update we have uploaded a new video from the last bash and drift session. This was gonna be need for speed IV, but due to strong sunlight the timing gear didn't work. Blonde Racin is curretnly working on a laser timing system that will be uneffected by sun light! Not to go home without a good drive, we did some drag racing and drifting! And Nippon also smashed the primera once again.......

We also went to Brimham rocks again, but the video wasn't too clever so sorry there will be no media from that trip. Having said that a good time was had by all!

So, the next Need for Speed will be held once the timing gear has been sorted, and when Samba Sport gets back from his working in Malaysia!

A few new cars have been purchased. Samba brought a TA-05 IFS to the last do and Skunkworks has bought a vintage 911 Carrera, with mechanical speed controller on a M-02L chassis. This will be making an appearance soon!

Updated 5th May

Well we went back to Brimham Rocks on Mayday for some Rock Crawling! And took the video camera with us! The You Tube vid can be found under events!!

Next Need for Speed (V) will be on the 22nd May BTW...

Updated 18th April

Well the Rally eevent has taken place, and in keeping with usual RCCB events, was not without incident. Firstly there was Samba Sport. A quick blast of the Rocky showed it was running on in 2WD. But Samba sport could fix this, he is an Engineer no less. 10 minutes later he was flying down the track, a quick turn, a bit of understeer and a fence post later meant an early bath... Before the event had even started........ That was a RCCB first.

Skunkworks showed that the F150 was quick, but was prone to rolling on the rough surface...

Bitter GP was adamant that the Nitro was the way to go, and even fitted it with a body! A quick blast showed it was working.

Serpent couldn't decide which car to run the Twin or the Scooby. A quick blast in both, he decided the scooby for Battery preservation.

Blonde turned up with the High Roller. It didn't seem to be running that fast and certainly looked out of the running.....

2FAST4U turned up with the Traxxas AND it's new brushless system, and boy was it fast...Uber Fast in fact....

We raced over 4 stages, with penalties awarded for hitting markers... The results were interesting. Not at all what we thought..... Check them out.... along with the pictures.... Including some new crash pictures..

Updated 17th April

I know I have promised many times, but the website is being upgraded this weekend. I have lots of pictures from the recent events to post and some changes to the layout.

But on to more pressing matters, today is the first multi stage rally event we have held with 6 out of 7 teams entering, should be interesting. Results and pictures from this event will be posted soon.

Updated 12th April

Has it really been that long? Well time flies.....

Over the easter hols, Samba Sport, Serpent and Skunkworks all enjoyed a bit of off road / rock crawling action.... Picture to be uploaded very shortly.... Brimham Rocks was a top venue for the rock crawlers...... We will be back there soon.....

So what has bene happening with the teams.

New team Bitter GP has been building his second Mini Cooper. Rover Mini that is, not that new fangled BMW thing. One for Rally and one for the road.... He is also working on his ML-04.

2FAST4U has a secret weapon....... I wonder what???

Serpent has re-built the Twin Dagger, with more robust steering and rear body posts. It's now looking quite a mean machine..... It also had a tug of war with the Skunkworks Porsche Cayenne Rock Crawler...... and lost....

Samba Sport has been Rock Crawling and enjoyed it. He also found his old Kyosho Rocky and has been busy building a uber car from both chassis...... Work has been going on with new brushed motors as well. In addition...... he has bought another car..........

Blonde Racin' has got the High Roller running... although since moving house we have not seen him.....maybe he has got lost in his upper vestibule.......

Talking of moving house Skunkworks has put the drag car on hold due to the very same reason.... Most of the RC kit being stored away until futher notice....... The Unimog Rock Crawler has a more practicle body for bashin' The Old Porsche Cayenne.

Nippon has also been buying shiney aluminium bits too.....

Well the next meet is this Saturday... Multi Stage Rally meet against the clock..... More news on this later...

Updated 7th March

We held the first Need for Speed event of 2010 using our new location. Uber smooth flat tarmac. The times were a little slower than previous events, but we put that down to the fact for the first time we raced on the flat, all other venuses were alsways slightly downhill. Also being new tarmac (and damp) tracation was an issue for some cars! For once there wasn't too many crashes!! Skunkworks did crash the brand new, first time out F-150 and cracked the body..... He blamed interference..... Mmmmm.

We also welcomed Randy, an egyption colleague on a years secondment. Hopefully he had a good time! Pictures and results from the event will be posted soon.

Bitter GP now has a forth car! He managed to get a rare M-04L Chassis complete with battered BMW M Roadster body for the total sum of £0!!!!! I'd have paid that for it! OK, it needs front hubs, steering servo, radio gear, suspension and ESC to get it going, but thats a bargain in anyones book.

Also Blonde Racin has now moved to his mansion, so don't be surprised if he now feels he is too good for us all!!!

Scott enjoyed himself so much he was jumping for joy.

Updated 2nd March

It's been a while since the last update. This weekend see's Need for Speed IV. With a few upgraded cars and a few new nitro's coming out to play, the leaderboard will be changing......

I also promise to update the website a bit...... Maybe at the weekend.... The car lists, and teams sites all need a bit of updating....

Bitter GP has bought a second Mini M-03. One to be set up for the road, one to be set up for Rally.

Blonde Racin is moving house, so will be absent at the weekend.

2FAST4U is downsizing his collection to fund Traxxas upgrades and will also be absent due to pregnant wife!!!

Serpent has got the Arta re-built and is going for gold on Saturday. Will the Twin manage a striaight line to post a time?

Samba Sport is STILL building the Rock Crawler...... Yawn.......... And is now building the drag car...

Skunkworks has been busy..... Building the Drag Car, and been on a buying spree.... Twin Detonator, Porsche GT2 Starcard, Subaru Impreza all on order... New body shells (More on these later) and a winch........... He will be busy, but with a house to be sold, DIY may have to take priority...........

Updated 20th February

Well three teams turned up for the drift test at the new venue, and a good time was had by all. The new venue has nice new, smooth flat tarmac!! Sweet.

The Serpent Drift car was looking nice, but the 2FAST4U dirfter is now looking a little worse for wear. The Skunkworks drifter was sporting its new neons.....

The Skunkworks Madbull also made it's first outing. Sporting new paintwork, which stayed prestine for all of 5 seconds....

Updated 11th February

Well. The Serpent Nissan Drift Car has arrived.... What is it about members of the club and Nissan's???? Drift Session has been organised so he can try out his new toy, but more on that later.

Samba Sport is still modelling his Drag car in 3D, and is still trying to lay the car out ust right, in Samba's normal attention to detail style!

Skunkworks however, went old school and is using good old fashioned AutoCAD to design his Drag car. All the parts have arrived for the build, and he is busy trying to make his design as light as possible. ALso after the last dismal performance, a full check of his battery's is under way. So far 4 out of 8 are what you might call, underperforming......

The Drag Page will arrive soon honest.......

So events....... The great news is that Serpent has secured the use of a private carpark for testing / Racing and Drifting!!! FANTASTIC NEWS MARK!! OUR THANKS GO OUT TO YOU!! Two events have been organised to celebrate this....

20th Feb - Drift and Test Session

6th March - Need for Speed VI - The first competitive meet of the year!!

Also when the weather improves we are going to Brimham Rocks for some off-Roading!!! More details on that later.

Updated 6th February

Stevie B has been upgrading the Enzo, after having it's arse kicked by the Skunkworks Carrera GT. But will it be faster? The Skunkworks Ford is finished, and Samba Sport has taken to re-building other peoples nitro's now.......

Wizbit has also got a Drift Car!

Updated 5th February

Lots happening. Skunkworks and Sambasport are all about designing a drag car! Check the Drag page to see updates! Skunkworks has also been building a Ford F-150.

Blonde has been rebuilding his Grasshopper and has collected his High Roller!

2FAST4U nealry bought another traxxas, but got outbid! Doh!!

Nippon has finished the R35 GT-R

Serpent has increased his collect... more on that later....

Updated 1st February

Well we all survived the AGM. Some pictures will be posted soon. Few new venues talked about, some minor changes to the club, and the revalation the woman only use the internet to look at naked fireman.......??????

With the money Stevie B had burning in his pocket following the sale of his Losi, he has bought a 2nd Traxxas.... Only a rolling chassis at the moment, but lets see what he does with it.....

Skunkworks has been building the Ford F-150, pictures soon. He has also bought a Toyota Land Cruiser 40, for a shelf queen.

Updated 27th January

Sambasport and Skunkworks are all about designing the Drag Cars....... The fact they are both design engineers with CAD systems at their dispoal has nothing to do with it..... Sambasport going for a pulley drive system, Skunkworks doing a direct gear system...... Will they work? If so who will be fastest...........

2FAST4U has sold a car!!! His newley aquired Losi High Roller no less......... And in a completly related turn of events.... Blonde Racin has a new car........ a Losi High Roller no less.... Funny that...

Updated 24th January

With 5 teams turning up at Pavilion Way for Pre-Season testing, plus a guest, the turn out was good. And, in keeping with last years event standards, lots of crashes and breakdowns occured.....

So 2FAST4U, had the traxxas and the enzo out. The traxxas still as strong as ever, doing some high level flying. The enzo had a coming together with the Skunkworks carrera GT which stopped play....

Sambasport had spark's coming from the new flint wheels of the R390 (although its speed was down on last year). The twin was still not on form. The Nitro did some bashing, although during setting it was noticed that the chassis was a bit bent (from too many bad landings last year no doubt!). The crawler also made its first appearance, albeit Sans Body.

Bitter GP had the mini out, showing off its bling suspension. And the nitro also came out to play, until a missing screw gave it some interesting handling....... Bitter GP also brought out some family members with a nitro, which was going well until the serpent dagger hit it..... and then it stripped a gear....

Skunkworks brought out the Stadium Drifter with it's new body and wheels (Hence the change of name to Porsche 911 Turbo Drift), and it looked good in testing. The Subaru Brat was going well once a decent battery had been fitted, until a stripped gear stopped play. The Bowler is still not on form.............. But is looking better with it's new paint scheme...... The best news of the day is the Carrera GT.... New ESC and motor giving it storming performance.....

Serpent had the scooby grabbing some air, and had the twin doing some jumping. Boy the twin is fast......... Look out for a good time this year from that car.... Assuming Wiz can keep it in a staight line!!!

After the testing a little bit of rock crawling took place at the nook.....

Updated 23rd January

Well the weather has held, testing is on. Pictures and news added soon.

Updated 18th January

Weather permitting, we are planning to have a pre-season test session this saturday. Invites have been sent to all members. Nothing competative, just a bit of fun.

Work on the Samba Sport and Skunkworks drag cars is still underway..... Nothing more than design and gear calc's thou......

Updated 16th January

Samba Sport is still beavering away on Bitter GP's Nitro car with the spares required having turned up. The Rock Crawler is not finished yet!!

Blonde Racin may one day re-build his car and even talked of buying a new one........ Wouldn't hold your breath on that one!!

Skunkworks new Impreza 2008 WRC has turned up, still waiting on the F-150 and the tacho to turn up. Lots of re-building gong on, with several cars undergoing a body re-furb

and getting a fresh coat of paint. Also a package of goodies from modelsport is in the post....... Just waiting for the weather to improve so some testing can be done!

Lots of excitement over the AGM in a fortnight, with most people lovin' the nando's plan........ Mmmmm Piri Piri.....

Also, a bit tongue in cheek, we have done a 2010 Calender.... E-Mail if your sad enough to want one.... Word2007 required..

Updated 14th January

Nippon's car spec's have been updated.

Talk of a new class have been doing the rounds between Samba Sport and Skunkworks... Drag Car Class...........

The aim, to build a bespoke car for the sole purposes of the 20m sprint. Details to be finalised, but design work has already started and 2FAST4U is also showing an interest...

The cars are to have a home made, bespoke chassis. Suspension, steering, transmission can all be bought items (the idea is to use our spares). All cars have to have RWD, powered by

a brushed electric motor. No limit on turns, esc or battery type. All cars have to have functioning steering. Body style can either be drag car style of funny car style......

Updated 13th January

BITTER GP - Mike's team name. Also he has pimped his Mini!!!

Updated 11th January

New boy Mike may one day, in the not too distant future ball race his mini...... Samba sport has found a problem with Mike's Nitro as well.

Skunkworks has bought the new car!!!, and another one................. Oh and a tacho to start measuring motor speeds..... Yes.... Geek.......

Updated 9th Janury

The date of the AGM / Drinking Session has been confirmed as the 30th Jan just need to agree the venue. Not a lot of bashing going on due to the snow!!!

Samba Sport has had the Venom Rock Crawler moving under it's own power, and is now helping new boy Mike in getting his Nitro working....

2FAST4U has been buying bling from the States for his HPI Nitro

Nippon may one day finish painting his new R35 GT-R for his Nitro, The Cistine Chaple was finished quicker than that project.....

Next Drag race should be interesting with these three nitro's still to post a time. Is Samba Sport still gonna be top dog this year?

Skunkworks is looking at a new car..........

And Finally...... We have added a media link to show some of the video clips we have taken. If you have any event clips you want uploading, e-mail them to me.

Updated 2nd January

After Skunkworks dismal performance at the last event, a re-build and investigation was launched. For some reason the central drive shaft of the Bowler had snapped its mounting brackets and sat ata weird angle. And the rear gear box was tighter than Wizbit!!! (Only Joking Mark..... LOL). So during the strip down and re-build a few mods are taking place... It would be rude not too...... A fresh coat of paint wouldn't go a miss either...... Lets hope it does better than last time......

Updated 1st January 2010!

Happy New Yeat to all. May all your RC adventures but most entertaining.........

Lots of building / re-building going on in the Samba Sport, Skunkworks and Serpent Crews.......... Looks like Samba Sport's Rock Crawler is also becoming a Manta????

Updated 27th December

Well the festivities are over...... Santa has been and gone......

For Samba Sport that meant the gift of his Venom Rock Crawler. The latest on the build is that it is a bit trickier than he thought, and has had to request more information on it.......

Serpent has been playing scaletrix with his son and heir.....

Skunkworks has bene plaing with the Rock Crawler in the snow with it's new light kit!! And had lots of fun.... Until moisture in the ESC stopped play...... He also has a Vintage Porsche Boxster to build! Rare E-Bay find..... What motor and ESC will he put in it, and what time will it post????

Still waiting for a team name from the new boy......

Snow stopped play today as we were all meant to have the end of session race meet..... Will have to schedule something in the new year...

So we also decided to be a proper club and have an AGM.... On Saturday..... In Leeds.... Starting mid to late afternoon..... In a bar.......

Updated 20th December

It's snowing and 2FAST4U has been playing out with the Traxxas and having fun!

The Skunkworks Evil Twini Mini body is almost complete.... Pictures Soon. The Merc Rock Crawler will also get a 60T motor soon.

The Stadium Drifter will also be getting a 911 Turbo body and new wheels......

Samba sport has his new logo uploaded...

And results and pictures from the last meet have been added.... And we now have some rules and car classes as well.....

Oh and a club chairman..... Mr Stevie B no less......

Updated 16th December

Well the results from the weekends event.... Pictures will follow soon..... Honest.

1st

2FAST4U - Stevie B

2nd

Serpent - Wizbit

Joint 3rd

Nippon - Andy C

Blonde - Scott B

New Team - Michael Tetley

4th (or Last)

Skunkworks - Ian Garner

The traxxas was on form as usual, and the new 2FAST4U high roller was also looking good. Fresh from it's fire, the Serpent Twin Dagger was looking very quick indeed and grabbed some air..

Nippon was miffed as one of his run's got disqualified, Blonde actualy won a race!!! and New boy Michael T also won one.... Then got his car stuck in a pot hole

Skunkworks failed to win anything..... At all......... The twin was pants.... The Bowler was pants and the Subaru Brat looked good, for the first 10 seconds before it broke....... At least the rock

crawler worked on its first outing.......

Next outing 27th December where we will hand out the presents from the secret santa...

Updated 10th December

Well on Saturday we have our first head to head race meet - and an off road one at that! AND we may have a seventh team turning up!

Samba Sport is getting all rock crawling excitable! He's bought a magazine about it!

Blonde is trying to upgrade his car! Different Motor and pinion no less.... Maybe.........

Skunkworks has been buying bits for the drift car and a light kit for one of the other cars....

2FAST4U and Serpent have bene preparing their cars for the meet - 2 cars each......

Nippon has even set the 350Z as a rally spec car for the event!

Now who will win.........

Updated 28th November

Plan for theXmas bash from 2FAST4U - Secret Santa. £5 pressy and has to be RC related. We will draw names at the next meet.

Nippon's new suspension for the 350Z has arrived and looks cools. His GTR body has arrived also, and just needs painting.

Skunkworks has been busy building the Evil Twini Mini. The chassis and electrics have been completed and now await's the body, which needs painting and triming.

And now an update from 2FAST4U

"HPI RS4 – Hopped up shocks to replace the faulty ones. New wheels and tyres! Cleaned up a lot. Identified a few bits that need replacing. Drained loads of oil out of the exhaust?!??!. General clean up and it now ticks over ok. Should make a pretty nippy car in the new year!

Traxxas – Few more shiny blue bits. Looking into either a mamba max pro or a traxxas velineon brushless conversion. Also got my eyes on some alloy shock towers but cannot decide which company to get them from? Racers Edge Machine or STRC?? Will have to import from across the pond though.

Losi High Roller. Got a transmitter and receiver on the way. Need ESC and motor.

Bought a job lot of pinions for the losi and traxxas so can tinker around to find the ideal gearing for the 20m drag!

No other mods to the other cars."

And now and update from Serpent.

"Update from the Serpent

Has bought deans connectors for his all his cars, this project will be under taken once all settings and mods have been finalised and tested using current connections.
Then I will have a base line to record actual improvements gained by upgrading them
All cars now have there own 3000 batteries

The NSX is in hibernation for the winter, and is under going a full strip and inspect. Then it will be rebuilt from scratch and all its multitude of adjustments set on a base line and recorded

The rally Scooby has been checked over for winter running and is all set to rumble (hopefully not literally)

On to the Wild Dagger
After my last outing and subsequent pyrotechnical display the dagger has been….. No not scrapped (even though I would have got more for it that a white Porsche) rebuilt, special thanks to those involved with its resurrection. New esc fitted, standard dagger Chassis has been modified to take a second battery ( without the use of tie wraps, blue tack or other sticky substances), the wiring has been modified to ensure minimal resistance.
Heavy weight grease has been added to the rear diff. The servo has been altered to give minimal play as it is absurd how crap the steering is otherwise, still wobbles like very wobbly thing on initial acceleration."

Updated 18th November

One look at the 10 day forecast has prompted the cancellation of the weekend off-road foray.... We will re-schedule very soon.

Skunkworks has been tinkering with the Bowler (Cosmetic) and the twin (to give it a little more get up and go). A package has arrive and is in the sorting office.. Is it the mini or the GT3??

Nippon has been looking at off roaders....

Serpent, if the rumours are to be believed, has a couple of new motors in the twin......

Samba sport has got most of the bits for his rock crawler, and has just bought a defender body shell for it.... Sweet. Still got to decide on a paint scheme though..........

Updated 16th November

First things first, the motor section has been updated with some LRP products, check out the spec's! They may be more expensive than other makes, but the performance (on paper at least) looks strong.

Next, is the next event. Rain permitting, it will be on Saturday at 2.00pm. Just for a change, instead of the usual drag race, we are having a race of champions style head to head battle. Each team will get a chance to race one on one, with each of the other teams cars. Points for winning awarded, we should be able to have a league table of the top drivers.......

Nippon's bits have arrived for both his cars. And with a little help has been turning the 350Z into a rally car for the next meet.

Samba Sports Rock Crawler has turned up...... But can't make the next do.

Serpents Twin Dagger lives again........

Blonde Racin' er... Is still Blonde......

Skunkworks is still waiting for the GT3, and the new mini......... The Twin Dagger will be brought out for one last event (In which it will kick the Serpents car's ass), before it evolves into the triple filtered truck..... Also a little mod has been ordered for the Carrera GT to make it a little quicker........

Updated 12th November

Has it really been that long since the last update? Well what has been going on......

Nippon.. New bits have arrived, others in post.. Motor, ESC, Body shell...... Blimey

Samba Sport is annoyed that his Rock Crawler hasn't arrived yet, and come to think of it Skunkworks is upset his GT3 hasn't turned up yet....

Well Skunkworks.... The Merc Rock Crawler is finished and is awesome!!!!! Another M01 chassis has been purchased (Hopefully it will turn up this time!).. So maybe the

evil twini mini project will see the light of day.

2FAST4U is happy with Beemer AND his Losi... Let's see how good it is at the next meet.

And finally Serpent..... Is as we speak, having the electrics sorted on his Twin Dagger after the fire...... And some Mods??? We'll see.

Updated 31st October

2FAST4U is pleased with his new purchase (Losi High Roller) and thinks it will make a good jump truck.

Samba sport is getting excited about the Rock Crawler he has on order, and is currently spec'ing all the parts he needs, and Skunkworks has solved the electrical issues and is well on with his build on the his Unimog Rock Crawler.

Serpent has bought a new ESC for the Twin Dagger.

Updated 27th October

2FAST4U has made another purchase. After refusing to get a rock crawler becuase he couldn't justify another car, Stevie B has bought a Losi 2WD off Road Truck........ Because it was cheap you understand......

Also If the parts arrive Serpent may have his Twin Dagger on the road (or off it) by the next meet.

Updated 23rd October

Lots to take about today. Firstly Samba Sport has ordered a Rock Crawler, should be out to play in the new year. Off Road is the new speed!

Serpent is planning to rebuild the Wild Dagger - Good Luck......... Will it ever be faster than then Skunkworks Twin? I doubt it......

And Nippon. After Smashing up the Primera, Ancy C has finally found the part number for the broken bit. Hopefully it will be back together for next meet. It might even post

a time! Third time lucky perhaps?? He also is pimping the 350Z!! Stop Press Andy actually spending money on his cars!!! Will wonders never cease.........

Updated 21st October

Hot on the heals of this weekends fun, the date has been set for the next venue - 21st November (Weather permitting). To put a different spin on things

we are going to race on a dirt track! Traction issues! Obviously off road cars only!

Updated 18th October

In keeping with our usual standard, the meet was a festival of destruction.

Skunkworks broke the steering on the Twin Dagger and lost a tyre on the Carrera GT

Samba Sport damaged the steering on the nitro, popped his air filter off mid flight and broke an axle on the Twin (On its Debut Outing).

Nippon finally did a run in the Nitro Primera, only to take out the timing beacon, his front wishbone and Stevie B's knee....... On his first run....... So, still no time posted then....

2FAST4U didn't really crash too much..........And his new Nitro Car turned up during the meet.

Now Serpent... We had a first.... The first fire...... His Twin Dagger didn't even post a time before it went down in a blaze of glory......

On the flip side, lots of teams posted faster times than the last outing - Sweet..........

The winner.. Well no change there.......... LOKIE.....

Updated 12th October

The big meet is day's away. Samba Sport is ready to show the Twin, 2FAST4U is ready to show his new car, Skunkworks may have his twin working (depends on Hong Kong and the postie)

and should have an upgraded Porsche Carerra GT........

Blonde and Serpent seem to have done sweet FA.

What about the new boy NIPPON..... He's only gone and paid for the Primera to be professionally set up... Lets see how quick it is........

Updated 10th October

Another Nitro has been pursched..... but what team??

Updated 7th October

Samba sport has been buying pinions, and getting the twin to run. 2FAST4U has been buying shiny things from America and Skunkworks has been buying shiny things from Hongkong......

Oh and Project Rock Crawler has hit electrical gremilins....... Bugger....

Updated 3rd October

Things have been slow..... But two teams have been working away in secret..... 2FAST4U has been buying aluminium bit's for the Traxxas whilst Samba Sport is trying to re-build the

transmission on the Nitro after blowing the diff. Along the way he purchased a 2 speed autobox for it as well.... Interesting.......

Skunkworks is still on the search for a Mini M01...... Until then the Evil Twin Proect is on hold........ However, after weeks of doing nowt, he has promised to start building the Rock Crawler,

and get the Twin motor Monster Truck running sweet....

Updated 26th September

Been a while........ With people havnig been on holiday, racing Talbot Samba's, selling Porsches, Buying Smarts, working, being Triangular and generally being called Scott, not a lot

has happened in recent weeks. Hoping to have a get together mid October......

Stevie B has got a three cars working, GMan's twin motor truck has a new ESC, but s still failing to give the performance desired and the Mini M01 never turned up so that project is

on the back burner until a suitable cars pops up.

Scott L has blown the diff on the nitro and has got all the bits he needs for his latest TA-03 project.......

Updated 11th September

Firstly a thought for the victims of 8 years ago...........

There is a lot of talk about what is required to improve on the times..... Only one team came out on top last time and the rest aren't gonna let that happen too often!!

Updated 5th September

Well, the day has drawn to a close and the results have been recorded.........

The times have got quicker, the crashes more severe........... And Scott B still has to think before he opens his mouth..... (More on that later)

The casualties.... Pic's will be posted, but in summery.....

1) The Porsche Cayenne... Needs a new body post and a new hub.......

2) The Hotshot... Sheared a Drive Shaft

3) The Arta NSX... Hit a wall hard....

4) The Rocky... Steering rod

5) The Twin Dagger (Skunkworks)... New Hub and Steering rod......

6) Grasshopper... New body....

7) Primera.... Just getting it started would be good....

8) Funfactor... Keeps locking its rear wheel

9) The Traxxas... Blew a damper after a hard landing......

The new times will be posted soon, and speedlist will be updated...

So back to Scott B and his think first before opening mouth policy..... After setting up the ramps to get some RC air at Stevie B's a rather attractive

blonde appeared and made a comment about our activities....

Scott then asked her to lay down so we could all jump her............

He later offered to help G-Man unload......... Oh dear.......

Oh, and the winner's of the day....

Overal Fastest Time - Lokie.....

Road Class...... Lokie...

Off Road Class..... Lokie

Monster Truck..... Lokie.....

Bugger....... He has too much spare time....

Updated 4th September

The Day has dawned....... There will be winners and losers.......

By this evening we will have a new speed list, some cars will go up, some cars will go down....... Place your bets and take your choices......

Updated 2nd September

Well he has only just gone and done it....... Samba Sport that is....... The Rocky has moved..... Under its own power!!!! Blimey.....

Rain stopped play tonight, as Blonde Racin was going test his car and timing gear, but the heavens opened....

Serpent has bought the bit he needed to get the twin dagger working... hopefully we will see it at the weekend.

G-Man Racing is undergoing re-branding....... to Skunkworks! The site will be updated shortly to reflect this.... The Skunkworks fleet has increased (Yes again....) and now

has a Toyota Hi-lux High-Lift (3 Speed gearbox) and a Unimog Rock Crawler to build........

Another Mini M01 has also been purchased for spares........

Each team page will also be having it's own project blog page soon, so team members can update the site themselves....

Updated 29th August 2009

The race meet has been postponed for a week whilst 2FAST4U has his cosmetic surgery done, but this means that Blonde Racin can now attend so its not all bad. It also

gives Samba sport another r7 days to get the Rocky prepared for the meet..... The safe money say's we wont see it.......... EVER!!!

Taking of 2FAST4U, the Enzo / Gayardo / whateva has been in testing and boy, is it nippy. The serpent ARTA may have met it's match..........

Its been a bad, BAD session testing for G-Man Racing. The Grasshopper was really quick, though a bit of a handful. Things were going well until the new more powerful motor

stripped the gearbox of teeth........

The newly re-built Twin Dagger has an electrical gremlin - Receiver or ESC? Not quite sure.......Will it make it to the race meet?? Er... Probably not...... :-(

The hotshot? Well the new mod's haven't really worked out so........ Back to the drawing board....

The Cayenne? Well Yes.... That one worked and worked well..... A new time will be taken to see how well the upgrades worked..........

Also G-Man racing has a new RC in the post........ A Mercedes Benz no less...........

And guess what... A new team will be added to the site shortly; and will be attending the race meet..... Team Nippon..........

Also some talk has been had about a junior league... With most teams supporting a child of some description it may be good to get the kids racing........ Thoughts???

Updated 22nd August 2009

Team Samba Sport has a new project on the go based on a TA-03 Chassis that he bought off E-Bay........... What will he do wilth it?

Meanwhile, G-Man Racing is under going a full re-build and upgrade to the Wild Dagger with one mission. To beat the Serpent prepared Twin Dagger.......... Who will have the fastest

twin engined monster truck?

2FAST4U has had the Enzo moving under it's own power too............ Oh and it's not longer an Enzo........ Its a GAYARDO, or something like that.......

Updated 16th August 2009

The date for the next event has been set. There will be new cars turning up to post their first time and old cars trying to stay ahead of the game. They may even be a new team turning up, but we'll see.

Samba Sport continues to work on the newly named TA-03 Samba Sport Evolution Manta. Scott seems to be an advocate of the Jeremy Clarkson school of you can't have too much power........ We'll see.

2FAST4U has all the parts needed to complete the Enzo, and nearly has the Traxxas back on the road following his last session of bad driving. Stevie B, ever the racing driver, immediately blamed the other car..........

All is quiet in the Serpent front.............. Is this to hide a new secret weapon, or has Wizbit just done sweet FA since the last meet..... :-)

Blonde Racin can't make the event, something to do with havin a social life or family life or something or other like that.......

G-Man racing has his work cut out trying to get his cars prepared... The Grasshopper has had major upgrades this week with new gearbox, motor, bearings and ESC.... Taking a leaf out of Samba sports renaming policy, it is now to be known as the Grasshopper II - Black Series Evolution....... The body work has been re-done to suit the new name..... Other G-Man Racing cars will soon follow suit as the upgrades continue..............

Rumor has it the Hotshot will also be sporting an interesting modification..............

Updated 8th August 2009

A lot has been happening. Samba Sport has been buying warp drives of Ebay, and still truly believes that the Rocky will on day work again..... We will see.

Out of season testing at the Nook brought various teams out. Blonde Racin' proved his car does move under its own power, but now needs some body work doing.......

Serpent, G-Man and 2FAST4U all got together with the following conclusion's.

1) The Serpent prepared Arta NSX is still the fastest beating both the 2FAST4U Traxxas and the New G-Man Racing Carrera GT........

2) The Traxxas now needs a new wheel mount........ (See the picture in the newly added Crash Section....) as he avoided a Porsche Tank Slapper......

3) The G-Man Prepared Stadium Racer is the better drift car, compared to the 2FAST4U Scooby....

Updated 3rd August 2009

Well Stevie B is learning to drift............. And he was bad enough with a car that handled.......

Updated 2nd August 2009

As they say, if your standing still then your going backwards....... After the last meet lots has been happening behind the scenes........

As you can see the web site is up and running.... and is constantly being updated and improved... I know its sexist (and sad), but we have added a babe list.....

Team Samba Sport has completely rebuilt his car with aluminum, and has been working on a new drive system as his 5th place was not good enough..... Rumor has

it we may one day see the Kyosho Rocky, but I won't hold my breath.......

Stevie B has increased 2FAST4U team garage by 2 cars..... After being a traxxas fan, he has finally bought into the tamiya school. After deciding to build a drift car on

a TT-01R chassis, he some how or other ended up with a stock TT-01 Subaru Impreza as well..... He also bought some ramps to grab some air! AWESOME....

What can we say about Blonde Racin'. The grasshopper has been built and works..... or so we are led to believe..... Also Scott B has built a timing system for the next

meet.

Serpent has been busy setting up his cars, but has a little ESC problem with the Wild Dagger.

Finally G-Man Racing has another 3 cars added to the stable...... A Wild Dagger (How will it compare to the Serpent prepared truck), A Mad Bull and a

Porsche Carrera GT. The Subaru Brat, mini cooper and Porsche Cayenne both all had upgrades, and the Stadium Raider Drift car has been fully built. Only a paint job to go...

We still need a suitable venue though......... Both for road and off road bashing....

Laters............ G-Man.....
